DIET PLAN FOR 6TH MONTH OF PREGNANCY
1.Fruits :
As we all knows that fruits provides us with vitamins,minerals. Most of the Fruits are major water constituents which helps us keep hydrated.
Major Intake of fruits in pregnancy :
- Apples
- Bananas
- Grapes
- Oranges
- Kiwis
- Pears
2.Protein :
Protein is important part in diet during pregnancy."A healthy intake of protein during pregnancy supports baby's growth & helps their rapidly multiplied cells to function normally".Protein structure the cell also helps them to properly making skin
Therefore pregnancy essential for you as well as your baby.
Some Protein rich food you should include in your diet are :
- Fish
- lean Meat
- Poultry
- Egg
- tofu
- nuts
- beans
- seeds
- legumes
- Grains
Some dairy products like Milk & cheese.
3.Carbohydrates :
Carbohydrates is also essential during pregnancy as it break down into simple sugar like glucose which pass easily across placenta & provides energy to support your baby's growth during pregnancy.
Food rich in carbohydrates are :
- Sweet potatoes
- pasta
- nuts seeds
- sweetcorn
- oats
4.Vegetables :
The goodness of vegetables is no secret and during your 6th month of pregnancy, they are an even more important part of your diet.
5.Fluids:
You should drink plenty of water and fruit juices during this stage of your pregnancy. Experts recommend 6 to 8 glasses of fluids every day to replenish your body and also give your baby essential minerals that are present in water. Fresh fruit juices will give you the necessary nutrients to have a healthy pregnancy and baby!
